We offer Free Shipping on Canadian orders that are over $149 before tax, but after any discounts. If the option for Free Shipping is not showing up at checkout, this means that your order has not met these requirements.

We frequently make small batches of our products to ensure they arrive as fresh as possible, which quite often means we make our products to order. We strive to process, produce and ship all orders within 2 – 4 days or less of receiving them. Processing times may be longer during peak times (Holidays).

We will send you a confirmation email once your order has been shipped. Below are estimates of delivery time in Canada using our standard shipping method (Canada Post Expedited Parcel) to major urban areas. Business days are Monday to Friday. Shipping times to more remote areas or during peak shipping times (such as Holidays) may be longer. Please note: these times are estimates and are not guaranteed.

**Please be aware that Canada Post has been experiencing some shipping delays during this pandemic. Please allow for extra time for your order to arrive. We do not guarantee shipping times, and are unable to refund your order once it has been shipped**

During checkout you will be able to choose from several different options based on price and speed of delivery.

Warm Weather Shipping2021-08-31T08:52:36-07:00

During the warm weather months, we take extra measures to protect your order.

All orders must be shipped with a maximum of two day shipping time to guarantee that your order will arrive unaffected. All other shipping options will be at your own risk.

Orders will be packed with ice packs and insulated padding to protect your chocolates. We charge a small fee on all orders to partially cover the cost of these extra shipping supplies.

**Orders outside of BC will be longer than 2 day delivery with the Flat Rate and Free Shipping options.

**In warm weather months, we may hold back your shipment to ensure the quickest delivery time.

If you live in the Victoria area, we offer pickup from our retail location at no charge or a Local Delivery option.
If you choose to pick up the order, we will contact you when your order is ready to pick up.

Due to the perishable nature of our products and insurance restrictions, we are only able to ship within Canada and the US at this time.

Please let us know in the comments section if you order is a gift. Prices are never included in our gift shipments. A free hand-written gift card is available for each order. Please enter your message during checkout in the “Special Requests” box.

Customers are responsible for ensuring the correct shipping address is provided. Please double check shipping address when you receive your order confirmation email and contact us right away if any changes need to be made. Incorrect or incomplete shipping addresses can result in your order being undelivered and returned to us. Return shipping charges and re-shipping charges incurred as the result of an incomplete or incorrect shipping address being provided are the sole responsibility of the customer.

Orders that are not picked up or received by the customers in due time may be returned to us. Return shipping charges and re-shipping charges incurred as the result of an order not be retrieved before the specified time are the sole responsibility of the customer.

All sales are final. We do not accept returns unless the product arrives defective or damaged.

If product arrives defective or damaged, we will either refund or resend the shipment, at our discretion.

We do not refund shipping costs for delayed shipments, unless we are able to obtain reimbursement from the shipping company.

Lost shipments will be refunded or resent, at our discretion.

Orders returned to us due to incorrect address given by customer or failure to pick up the order in the allotted time will not be refunded. Reshipping charges will be the responsibility of the customer, if they choose to do so.

We will not be responsible for product defects due to improper storage of the product after delivery.

All claims for damaged or defective orders must be made within seven (7) days of delivery.

Pure Lovin’ Chocolate is a family owned and operated company, located in beautiful Victoria BC, Canada. We focus on producing top quality confections, made from only the best organic, local and natural ingredients. We do not use any artificial flavourings or colours and we produce a full line of Vegan, Soy Free and Gluten Free products. We strive to make our products as pure and simple, as well as delicious and decadent, as possible.

Although we strive to keep all of our products pure and free of allergens, there are some circumstances beyond our control that can cause our products to contain trace amounts of certain allergens.

PEANUTS and TREE NUTS: We do use peanuts, hazelnuts, almonds, pecans and cashews in some of our products, which means that all of our products have the possibility to contain peanuts and tree nuts, even if it is not an intended ingredient.

DAIRY: We do not add dairy to any of our products.

The 71% dark chocolate that we use is made without the addition of dairy, but is manufactured in a facility that also produces milk chocolate. The chance of cross-contamination is extremely slim, but for safety and legality reasons, we must say that there may be a chance that our dark chocolate products contain traces of dairy, even though dairy is never an intended ingredient.

Our vegan white and vegan milk chocolate are made in house, and are completely dairy free, with no chance of cross contamination.

SOY: Our chocolates do not contain any soy lecithin. Soy is not added in any other way to our products, so our products are completely soy free.

GLUTEN: Our gluten free products are prepared in a controlled environment that eliminates any exposure to gluten. We have tested our products to ensure that they are gluten free, as required by the laws of the Canadian Food Inspection Agency.

SESAME: Some of our products may contain traces of sesame and sesame seeds even though sesame is never an intended ingredient.

Organic farming uses no chemical pesticides, fertilizers, or GMOs, and is designed to encourage soil and water conservation and reduce pollution. Organic cacao farming is especially important, as only cotton crops use more pesticides worldwide then conventional (non-organic) cacao farming. Also, cacao is most often grown in tropical rain forest regions; growing organically helps preserve these environments and the animals and vegetation that live within them.

Fair Trace certification assures fair prices and fair working conditions for farmers growing the cacao beans used to produce our chocolate.

All of our products are Vegan, which means they’re made without animal ingredients (no eggs, dairy, butter or honey, or any other products derived from animals), and with non-bone char processed sugars.

We have a retail location in Downtown Victoria, and also sell our products at many local stores (please see our Retail Locations page) as well as accepting online orders year round. We ship all across Canada and the US, and offer pickup in Central Victoria.
